Until July 20 there is time to present proposals for the MOVÉS call for this study.
The objective of this call is to carry out an analysis on the technical, economic and environmental opportunities, challenges and needs to modify the regulatory and standards framework necessary to develop the conversion activity (retrofit) of combustion vehicles to electric in Uruguay, so that the activity can be developed with an adequate level of quality and safety, which also minimizes its environmental impacts. Regulatory and normative aspects must be included so that the vehicle obtains the authorization to circulate. Through, an analysis of responsibilities, guarantees and endorsements to the user (maintenance, spare parts) and insurance will be indicated, after the conversion of the vehicle.
This study is part of the MOVÉS Project initiatives to promote more efficient and sustainable mobility, in all its dimensions.
