Until July 6, there is time to present proposals for MOVÉS ‘call for this study.
The purpose of this consultancy is to evaluate the benefits and impacts of Uruguay adopting and applying the environmental and safety regulations on motor vehicles prepared by the United Nations World Forum for the Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29), through Uruguay’s adhesion to the 1958 Agreement. This consultancy is aimed to define a roadmap with the steps to follow if Uruguay adheres to this agreement and the implications of it in all dimensions (legal, economic, administrative, and others). This, depending on the degrees of adherence: total, partial with some regulations, which could be recommended for immediate adoption.
This study is part of the MOVÉS Project initiatives to promote more efficient and sustainable mobility, in all its dimensions.
